Shift: Will require some flexibility, 1st/2nd

Core Responsibilities:
 
  • Skilled Maintenance and Repair: Performs a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and sheetrock work. 
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Diagnoses and troubleshoots mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical problems to expedite repairs. 
  • Preventative Maintenance: Implements and performs preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of building systems and equipment. 
  • Installation and Modification: Installs, modifies, and repairs various building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. 
  • Work Order Management: Responds to work orders in a timely and efficient manner, documenting all work performed. 
  • Safety Compliance: Adheres to all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment. 
  • Inventory Management: Maintains adequate inventory of necessary tools, materials, and supplies. 
  • Record Keeping: Keeps accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and costs. 

Job Requirements:

Key requirements:

  • Five + years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on glass tempering production equipment.
  • Experience with automated equipment.
  • Welding and fabricating experience.
  • Experience with power tools and hand tools.
  • Wiring / electrical; VFD’s and PLC controls; pneumatic experience.
  • Perform PM’s on equipment and assist with various projects, including installation of new equipment.
  • Troubleshoot various equipment issues and determine course of action quickly.
  • Forklift experience. Company will provide on-site certification.
